About the role#
This internship supports the PACCAR Information Technology Division. You will work with project managers and the Project Management Office (PMO) to oversee a portfolio of high-impact projects. You will gain experience in project methodologies while working with teams from various disciplines and backgrounds.
What you'll do#
- Support project managers on active projects and complete assigned tasks.
- Learn and apply the Agile development process.
- Participate in project risk definition and mitigation practices.
- Contribute to PMO process improvements and portfolio management activities.
- Define project scope, resources, risk, schedule, and budget, then reassess these elements periodically.
- Build your executive presence and presentation skills through PMO meetings.
What you'll need#
- Solid communication and teamwork skills.
- Mental agility and curiosity regarding IT program and project management.
- Academic understanding of project management, Scrum, and Agile.
- Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision.
- Comfort working with ambiguity.
- Experience working on complex efforts is a plus.
- A completed graduate or undergraduate degree in Business or a related field is preferred.

- Status: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: $25 per hour for undergraduates, $30 per hour for graduate students.
