About the role#
PACCAR Parts is seeking an Operations Support Engineering intern for our Distribution Center in Renton, Washington. This summer 2027 internship provides an opportunity to work alongside managers and senior staff on departmental projects. You will gain hands-on experience while building professional relationships with industry experts.
What you'll do#
- Support improvement initiatives under the guidance of the Operations Innovation Project Manager.
- Identify requirements and carry out action plans for active projects.
- Research and develop hardware and technologies to support distribution center operations.
- Assist with project implementations.
- Support systems and projects focused on the distribution center.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in college, with junior or senior standing preferred.
- Relevant coursework or prior internship experience.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A team-oriented mindset and self-motivated personality.
- Experience with categorical data is desired.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a flexible environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Renton, Washington.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Status: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: $25.00 per hour for undergraduate students or $30.00 per hour for graduate students.
