About the role#
We are hiring a Maintenance and Facilities Intern to join our team in Denton, Texas. This role supports our facility operations through project development, equipment documentation, and maintenance assistance. You will work directly with our maintenance team on various tasks throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Gather data and specifications for Paint Facilities projects.
- Collect equipment data and name plates for facility documentation.
- Manage and update facility drawings for electronic recording.
- Assist with project designs and scopes of work for new and existing equipment.
- Support major maintenance emergency repairs and corrective actions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. degree program for Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Automation Engineering or Technology.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of college.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of industrial equipment and safety practices.
- Ability to work in a self-directed environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD is strongly desired.
- Participation in extracurricular engineering or technology projects is a plus.
