About the role#
The PACCAR Parts Summer Internship Program offers a work assignment within the IT Applications department. You will participate in division and department meetings, activities, and events to gain a clear understanding of the business. At the end of the term, you will present your accomplishments to fellow interns and senior management.
What you'll do#
- Support IT Applications projects by assisting with requirements gathering, process understanding, and documentation.
- Provide day-to-day application support and navigate internal systems and tools.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting, issue triage, and coordination with the IT team.
- Perform functional testing for application changes, including creating and updating test cases, executing tests, logging defects, and confirming fixes.
- Apply AI concepts to improve business processes.
- Participate in department and division meetings.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate, with junior or senior standing preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-motivated and energetic personality.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong PC skills, including experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.

- Compensation: Undergraduate students earn $25.00 per hour, and graduate students earn $30.00 per hour.
