About the role#
The Fleet Management department manages the quote, order, build, aftersales, and technical processes for key fleet customers. This role supports fleet sales program managers with technical tasks and project management. You will work with various areas of the business to provide customer service and technical expertise.
What you'll do#
- Develop and implement projects such as tracking dashboards, process improvements, and new procedures to improve group efficiency.
- Manage projects by conducting meetings, tracking progress, and driving action through lateral management.
- Support fleet and export customers through spec reviews, order processing, and pilot builds.
- Identify and build relationships across the sales organization.
- Create and share solutions to optimize fleet account specifications using CREO modeling, PremierSpec, and Data Book enhancements.
- Travel to support fleet events, pilot reviews, or quarterly business reviews.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, preferably with Junior or Senior standing.
- Focus in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Sales Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, programming, or 3D CAD modeling.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisions based on complex information.
- Ability to work collaboratively on projects.
- Background in mechanical or electrical work is preferred.
- Knowledge of Kenworth plant, technical, field service, or design is a plus.

- Compensation: $25 per hour for undergraduates and $30 per hour for graduate students.
