About the role#
PACCAR is hiring an Accounting Intern to join the team in Renton, Washington. This full-time, paid internship begins in January 2027. You will report to the Accounting Manager and assist with various financial operations.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the month-end financial close cycle.
- Prepare journal entries and perform general ledger account reconciliations.
- Report financial results to the reporting group.
- Manage fixed asset inventory, setup, and depreciation.
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing tasks.
- Assist with Accounts Payable, including invoice processing and intercompany transactions.
- Perform vendor statement reconciliations and review expense reports.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A completed bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A detail-oriented approach with a focus on the big picture.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with SAP or RPA is a plus.

- Location: Renton, Washington.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Undergraduate students earn $25 per hour, and graduate students earn $30 per hour.
