About the role#
The Data Analytics and AI Intern works with cross-functional teams to support the development and deployment of data-driven solutions. This role focuses on real-world projects involving data modeling, machine learning, business intelligence, and operational optimization. You will help translate business questions into technical problems and derive insights to support company goals.
What you'll do#
- Assist with data wrangling, cleaning, and transformation across structured and unstructured sources.
- Collaborate with data engineers to validate data integrity and availability.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Build dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Python libraries.
- Support the development, training, and testing of machine learning models for predictive maintenance, quality forecasting, supply chain optimization, and anomaly detection.
- Translate business questions into data problems and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Research AI and machine learning trends to provide recommendations for internal adoption.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, AI, VBA, or Python is a plus.
