About the role#
Oshkosh AeroTech is seeking a Telematics Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position focuses on the iOPS Telematics platform and embedded equipment. You will work in an office environment on projects involving data collection, portal testing, and system documentation. Please note this role does not involve drawing or design work.
What you'll do#
- Work with onboard systems to collect data.
- Develop portable tools for data collection and perform portal testing.
- Compile data and correlate it to specific events.
- Propose, develop, and present simulator activities through the iOPS portal.
- Perform dashboard customization and maintain process documentation.
- Assist with fleet monitoring and other assigned projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Availability for the full duration of the internship.
- Experience in the aviation or ground support equipment industry is a plus.
- Ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment.
