About the role#
This internship with the McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Digital Technology team offers hands-on experience maintaining IT infrastructure. You will work with cross-functional teams to assist end users and contribute to technology projects that support business operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide PC hardware, software, and application support across departments.
- Set up, configure, and deploy computers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues related to hardware, connectivity, and system performance.
- Support IT projects involving network connectivity, virtualization, and network integration.
- Coordinate with vendors for installations, maintenance, and warranty services.
- Document support processes and contribute to IT improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, PC hardware, and peripheral devices.
- Familiarity with Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
