About the role#
As a Customer Support Business Analyst Intern, you will work on projects that contribute to business outcomes while receiving mentorship from professionals in technology strategy and AI. You will gain exposure to an agile development environment and build expertise in customer support technology within a global heavy equipment manufacturing leader.
What you'll do#
- Identify, assess, and sequence milestones for the customer support technology roadmap.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive initiatives that improve customer self-service capabilities.
- Analyze current support processes and workflows to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Support the integration of Human in the Loop AI solutions.
- Participate in an agile development cycle, including sprint planning and backlog grooming.
- Contribute to the development of a single pane of glass interface for agents.
- Assist in the optimization of knowledge center services to improve information access.
- Help increase support capacity to develop expertise in new product lines.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify actionable opportunities.
- Basic understanding of AI principles, automation tools, and technology integration.
- Familiarity with agile project management, sprint planning, or similar methodologies.
- Proactive problem-solving skills to identify bottlenecks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Experience with customer support platforms like Zendesk or Salesforce.
- Exposure to AI-driven tools such as chatbots or automated ticketing systems.
- Basic knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI and business analysis tools like JIRA or Confluence.
- Interest in the Construction, Agriculture, or Horticulture industries.
