About the role#
Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Communications and Partnerships, you will support the Global Communications and Partnerships team. This role covers press, influencer, stylist, and VIP activities. You will assist with product sendouts, event coordination, industry research, and content creation.
What you'll do#
- Manage general administrative tasks like product inventory, shipping, messenger services, and database maintenance.
- Track press and social media placements for new launches and ongoing initiatives to build reports.
- Create content for the weekly PR highlights newsletter.
- Prepare weekly emails covering industry insights.
- Draft PR activity recaps and presentations.
- Support the team during PR events, such as product launches, and industry events like New York Fashion Week.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a U.S. accredited college or university degree program.
- Studies in Communications, Public Health, Marketing, or Journalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Google Docs, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of the beauty industry.
- Ability to work as a self-starter.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site internship based in New York, New York.
- You must be able to commute to the office 1-2 times per week.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
- The pay range is $17 to $18 per hour.
