About the role#
As an Analytics Intern, you will support the development of analytical solutions while engaging directly with clients to address complex challenges in the energy transition sector. This role reports to an Analyst and involves collaborating across departments to provide data-driven insights. This is a full-time, paid internship position based in Calgary for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to market analysis across the energy transition sector, including renewables, energy storage, CCUS, hydrogen, and EV mobility.
- Compile and maintain large datasets to support the development of advanced analytical models.
- Develop analytical models that leverage large datasets to provide actionable insights for clients.
- Work with the Analytics team to create customized solutions for client problems.
- Participate in conference calls and client meetings to demonstrate and support our solutions.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4th year student in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Data Science, or Statistics.
- Strong analytical ability, including familiarity with statistical methods and optimization concepts.
- Programming skills in Excel, VBA, Python, or SQL are considered an asset.
- A strong desire to learn and contribute to a growing team.
- Ability to work effectively in a start-up environment while managing change and ambiguity.
Location & details#
- Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada (On-site).
- Term: Fall 2026 (8 or 12 months).
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Status: Paid internship.
