Analytics Intern

About the role#

As an Analytics Intern, you will support the development of analytical solutions to address complex questions within the energy transition industry. You will work directly with the Analytics team to provide insights to clients and contribute to projects across various sectors, including renewables, energy storage, and hydrogen. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Calgary.

What you'll do#

• Contribute to market analysis across the energy transition sector.
• Compile and maintain large datasets to support the development of advanced analytical models.
• Develop analytical models that leverage data to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with the team to create customized solutions for client problems.
• Participate in conference calls and client meetings to demonstrate solutions.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Data Science, or Statistics.
• Strong analytical skills, including knowledge of statistical methods and optimization concepts.
• Programming and software skills in Excel, VBA, Python, or SQL are considered an asset.
• A strong desire to learn and contribute to a growing team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Location & details#

• Location: Calgary, Alberta (On-site).
• Term: Fall 2026 (8 or 12 months, starting September 2026).
• Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
• Status: Paid internship.
