About the role#
The Design Intern role provides a practical, educational experience within our Santa Clara headquarters. You will work alongside our design and sales teams to support both creative and administrative tasks. This is a paid position that offers direct exposure to our team members, clients, and partners.
What you'll do#
- Support the design team on special projects and key initiatives.
- Join customer meetings to help gather project information through surveys, interviews, and data collection.
- Perform field verifications and conduct product inventory.
- Execute product research and produce preliminary design concepts.
- Manage project hours and complete time entry.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or Architecture at a four-year college or university.
- Beginner proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketch Up.
- Ability to draw or sketch by hand.
- Awareness of interior design practices, state and federal building codes, and ADA standards.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in Santa Clara, California.
- The position operates on a rolling term.
- Hours are scheduled Monday through Friday, up to 32 hours per week between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
