About the role#
This internship offers a look at how streaming products are tested from end to end. You will work with a Product Manager and a Design/QA lead through a 12-week curriculum. The role involves functional testing across devices, design reviews, and usability research. You will also use AI-assisted tools to support our QA process.
What you'll do#
- Run guided test passes on release candidates for web, mobile, and TV platforms.
- Write bug reports in Jira with clear reproduction steps and screen recordings.
- Complete regression checklists for scheduled releases and verify fixes.
- Perform design QA by comparing live screens against Figma specifications.
- Test subtitles, captions, and accessibility features across different devices.
- Help with usability sessions by designing tasks, taking notes, and summarizing findings.
- Participate in weekly triage meetings to observe how issues are prioritized.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior, senior, or graduate student in HCI, CS, Design, Communications, Media, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and clear written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn Jira and Figma.
- Ability to receive academic credit is preferred.
- Proficiency in Korean and English is a plus. Fluency in Vietnamese or Chinese is also welcome.
- Interest in streaming services or K-content is helpful.
