About the role#
Nova 401(k) Associates is hiring an IRA Specialist Intern for a paid, full-time position in our Scottsdale office. This role runs from January 2027 through April 2027, with specific start and end dates open for negotiation. You will work on-site Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
What you'll do#
You will manage the full lifecycle of distribution requests and handle related inquiries from participants and plan sponsors. Your daily work includes tracking progress, preparing distribution packages, and communicating updates to account holders, management, and TPA partners. You will also serve as a point of contact for IRA holders via phone and email while building professional relationships with our vendors.
What you'll need#
We do not require previous experience for this role, though we value candidates who can learn quickly. You should be comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks at once.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook
- Ability to grasp concepts related to rollover IRAs and trust company functions
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Knowledge of modern office procedures and business communication
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics
Location & details#
This position is located in Scottsdale, Arizona. It is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt role. We offer four days of paid time off during the internship term.
