About the role#
As a Co-op Application Developer, you will join our technical team to build n-tier client-server software for law enforcement agencies. You will work on the NicheRMS platform, which supports the daily operations of police officers and support staff. You will gain experience working with a large code base and learn through code reviews and mentoring from our development team.
What you'll do#
- Develop software as part of the technical team.
- Implement internal and customer-submitted change requests.
- Deploy code to customer implementations of NicheRMS.
- Integrate your work into the Niche git repository.
- Use tools including Microsoft Visual Studio, C++, C#.NET, Windows Server, and Microsoft SQL Server.
What you'll need#
- You must be a student in the University of Manitoba Computer Science Co-op program.
- You must be a Canadian citizen or have permanent resident status.
- You must be able to obtain a security clearance, which requires having no indictable offense or felony convictions.
- You should have an interest in developing modern, easy-to-use software.

- This position is located on-site in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
- This is a paid, full-time co-op role.
