About the role#
KTAL NBC 6, KMSS FOX, and KSHV 45 in Shreveport are looking for interns to join the team. This position is designed for current college students who want to develop their skills in a professional broadcast environment.
What you'll do#
Your daily tasks will vary based on schedules and current news assignments. You will:
- Write content for broadcast and digital platforms.
- Shoot and edit video footage.
- Manage the assignment desk and monitor emergency scanners.
- Contribute to newscasts.
- Assist with daily news gathering and development.
What you'll need#
We look for students who are driven to succeed and pay close attention to detail. You should have a genuine eagerness to learn all aspects of broadcast and digital journalism.
