About the role#
Nexstar Media Group offers an internship program for students pursuing degrees in Communications or Journalism. This is a learning experience designed to provide exposure to broadcast media production and distribution. You will work within departments such as News, Creative Services, Production, and Community Development.
What you'll do#
- Engage in departmental tasks across various media production areas.
- Participate in a structured learning experience under supervision.
- Complete a written evaluation with your supervisor at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- You must be a senior in your final year of study.
- You should possess an advanced skill level to handle project complexity.
- You must be a collaborative worker who is ready to learn.
- You are expected to work two eight-hour shifts per week.
Location & details#
- Location: Springfield, Missouri.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Commitment: 16 hours per week for 15 weeks.
- This is an unpaid internship.
