About the role#
KTAL NBC 6, KMSS FOX, and KSHV 45 in Shreveport are looking for interns to join the team. This position is for current college students who want to build their skills in digital journalism. You will work on a variety of assignments that change based on the daily news cycle and your schedule.
What you'll do#
- Write content for digital platforms.
- Shoot and edit video.
- Assist with the daily gathering of digital content.
- Help the team develop new digital content.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current college student.
- Majors in Journalism, Communications, or Media Studies are preferred.
- A strong attention to detail.
- A drive to succeed and an eagerness to learn how digital journalism works.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Shreveport, Louisiana.
- This is a full-time, unpaid internship.
- The program runs on a rolling basis.
