About the role#
Nelson Schmidt Inc. is seeking a Media Intern to join the team in Milwaukee. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various stages of the advertising process, including research, campaign management, and reporting.
What you'll do#
- Assist the media team in researching and developing media strategies for clients across diverse industries.
- Support the launch and management of media campaigns across owned digital platforms and traditional media placements.
- Participate in reporting efforts by pulling data from platforms and maintaining analytics dashboards.
- Maintain internal documents related to media planning, execution, and optimization.
- Participate in internal team meetings.
- Gain experience with platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Analytics.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior standing in a college program majoring in advertising, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- An interest in exploring all areas of media, including digital and traditional channels.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Location & details#
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Part-time, minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
- Equipment: An agency-provided computer is included.
