About the role#
Curiosity is seeking a Social Media Intern to join the Activation Team. This role involves supporting the Senior Social Strategist and the broader social department with the day-to-day management of multiple social media platforms. You will assist in creating and administering content to build audiences and ensure engagement for various clients.
What you'll do#
- Brainstorm and assist with content calendar creation.
- Create and curate engaging social media content that resonates with target audiences.
- Use trending audio and perform in-platform video editing.
- Schedule content and manage accounts across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages.
- Monitor social media analytics to provide actionable performance insights.
- Assist with social media campaigns and initiatives.
- Stay current on social media trends and best practices, including writing for a weekly social newsroom.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in college majoring in communications, marketing, advertising, or media studies.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with trending audio and in-platform video editing.
- Ability to monitor and analyze social media metrics.
- A writing sample that includes a summary of a current TikTok trend and 2-3 recommendations for brand activation.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- The internship is part-time at approximately 20 hours per week, requiring attendance at the office 3 days per week.
- This is a paid internship that includes a parking reimbursement or travel stipend.
