About the role#
The Workplace Infrastructure and Logistics (WIL) division is building a foundation for data management and analytics. This team supports operational site services, including facility maintenance, space utilization, and internal operations. As an intern, you will work both independently and with team members to transform data into actionable insights that support our business partners.
What you'll do#
- Collect, process, and clean data.
- Develop and refine reports and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
- Identify actionable insights through data analysis.
- Interview stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Prepare and collaborate on presentations and reports.
- Automate data processes.
- Execute day-to-day tasks and support special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college-level degree program, specifically in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems (MIS/CIS), Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with dashboard development and data visualization.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Data Bricks.
- Familiarity with data querying, reporting, and analysis.
- Ability to interpret and synthesize large amounts of information.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
- An anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
Location & details#
- This is a rolling, part-time, on-site internship based in Vienna, Virginia.
- You must be currently enrolled in an academic program for the duration of the internship.
- Proof of enrollment is required.
