About the role#
The IGM Research Intern supports the RI Miller team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. This is a paid, full-time position based in Columbus, Ohio. The role follows a rolling schedule.
What you'll do#
- Assist with research studies and experiments under direct supervision.
- Gather and analyze data to help draft research proposals and reports.
- Collect and collate supporting data for project documentation.
- Manage laboratory supplies and ensure equipment stays in working order.
- Maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment while following all safety protocols.
- Perform administrative tasks and organize laboratory records.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in high school or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to interact with various audiences.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including occasional support after standard hours.
- Majors in Biology, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, or Chemistry are relevant to this work.
