NATIONAL FFA CONVENTION & EXPO – FFA SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR INTERN

About the role#

The National FFA Organization is seeking interns to capture and share content during the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis. This role focuses on creating quick-turn video content that highlights stories, celebrations, and behind-the-scenes moments from the event. You will contribute to a portfolio of content distributed to an audience of over one million members and supporters.

What you'll do#

• Shoot, edit, and post at least four engaging short-form videos daily for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Utilize trending sounds, formats, and social media trends to create relatable content.
• Brainstorm and pitch creative content ideas aligned with major event themes.
• Collaborate with the National FFA social media team to maximize reach and engagement.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or recent graduation in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Experience filming and editing short-form video content on mobile devices.
• Proficiency with mobile editing apps such as CapCut, InShot, or Adobe Rush, and basic desktop editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trending formats.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Comfort being both behind the camera and occasionally on-camera.
• Prior knowledge of FFA or agriculture is a plus.

Location & details#

• Location: Indianapolis, Indiana.
• Term: Fall 2027.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• This is a paid position featuring a $500 project stipend. Travel expenses, including airfare, hotel, and meals, are covered by the organization.
• Interns must be able to navigate the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium, which may involve extended periods of walking, standing, and carrying equipment.
