About the role#
The National FFA Organization is seeking a Newsroom Videographer Intern to document the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a professional newsroom environment, receive production coaching, and build a portfolio by creating content distributed to a national audience.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with newsroom journalists on daily assigned stories.
- Capture b-roll footage and conduct interviews throughout the event.
- Contribute video content to the FFA Live! broadcasting stream.
- Publish work across various media platforms, including social media and the organization's website.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in media and production, agricultural communications, telecommunications, or a closely related field.
- At least two years of experience shooting video on DSLR cameras.
- Ability to navigate the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium to conduct interviews and transport equipment.
- Professionalism and the ability to work 10-hour shifts.
- Experience with Panasonic GH6/7 cameras is considered a bonus.
- Prior knowledge of the National FFA Organization or the agriculture industry is a bonus.
Location & details#
- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana.
- Term: Fall 2027.
- This is a full-time, on-site internship.
- The position includes a $500 project stipend, and travel and meal expenses are covered by the organization.
