About the role#
The Surgical Technologist Apprentice program provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing your clinical requirements. This is a full-time, paid position that allows you to earn while you learn in an operating room setting.
What you'll do#
- Complete your required clinical hours within the operating room.
- Work alongside specialty surgeons, physician assistants, and advanced practice registered nurses.
- Provide direct patient care in a surgical environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a Surgical Technologist student at Baker College, Northwestern Michigan College, or Kirtland Community College.
- A commitment to work at Munson Healthcare for two years.
- Proof of vaccination or lab-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella.
- Receipt of a flu vaccine during the hire year and annually thereafter, unless you have an approved medical or religious exemption.
