About the role#
Morganside Veterinary Clinic offers DVM students a chance to gain clinical experience through a hands-on externship. What you'll do#
- Work one-on-one with experienced veterinarians to set and achieve your professional goals.
- Participate in daily patient care and clinical discussions regarding real cases and treatment options.
- Learn to balance gold-standard diagnostics with practical alternatives that respect client circumstances.
- Engage in a supportive clinic culture that values honesty and strong client relationships.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited veterinary medicine program.
- Completion of at least your first year of DVM studies.
- An interest in general practice or community-focused medicine.
- Majors in Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, or Public Health are relevant to this program.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid externship located in Sparta, Wisconsin.
- The program term is rolling.
- Students are eligible to receive reimbursement for eligible expenses, up to $600 per week.
