Analyst, Enterprise Risk Service - Internal Audit & Controls (Co-op)

About the role#

MNP is seeking an Analyst for the Enterprise Risk Service - Internal Audit & Controls team for a Winter 2027 co-op term. This role involves working with a team to assist clients in mitigating risk, establishing internal controls, improving financial reporting reliability, and maintaining regulatory compliance across various industries.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the delivery of enterprise risk engagements, including risk assessments, internal audits, compliance programs, and the development of risk management policies and frameworks.
• Coordinate project logistics and support the development of project plans with clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in walkthroughs and control testing to document, assess, and implement improvements to processes and control frameworks.
• Provide technical expertise through research, analysis, and the preparation of reports, proposals, and management presentations.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and collaborate with client engagement teams.
• Identify opportunities to deliver added value to clients and foster long-term relationships.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Actively working towards professional designations such as CPA, CIA, CGAP, or CISA.
• Experience in risk management or performance improvement is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and risk management frameworks is considered an asset.

• Compensation: $50,000–$70,000 annually.
