About the role#
As an Information Solutions Intern, you will support our technology infrastructure and modernization efforts. This role involves direct interaction with our manufacturing, engineering, and office teams to manage technology assets and hardware deployments. You will gain hands-on experience in IT operations while contributing to projects that keep our systems running efficiently.
What you'll do#
- Conduct physical inventories of computer systems and technology assets.
- Identify and document system locations, ownership, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with employees and engineers to verify inventory records.
- Assist with the deployment of new thin client devices and hardware.
- Support workstation replacement and refresh projects.
- Verify equipment installation, configuration, and functionality.
- Document deployment activities and provide basic troubleshooting support.
- Track project progress, inventory status, and deployment readiness.
- Help organize and dispose of retired technology equipment.
- Support facility cleanup and the organization of storage and staging areas.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Technology, Business Technology, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and Microsoft Windows.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, move, and install computer equipment and peripherals.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Preference for candidates available 20 hours per week.
- Experience in customer service, retail, manufacturing, or technical support is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications is preferred.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: 22 USD per hour.
- Schedule: Part-time, rolling term.
