About the role#
The Wild Foundation intern supports key programming and fundraising initiatives, including event planning, auction management, and in-game sales. This role is essential for generating funds for community impact and ensuring smooth operations. You will collaborate with youth hockey associations, manage donor data, and contribute to the Skate It Forward initiative.
What you'll do#
- Assist with Foundation programming, fundraising initiatives, and events such as galas and online auctions.
- Coordinate with youth hockey associations to organize game night program sales.
- Manage CRM database entries and handle customer communication.
- Support the Skate It Forward initiative, including association crowdfunding and research projects.
- Execute administrative tasks and miscellaneous assignments as needed.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Passion for and understanding of community-based hockey in Minnesota.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in sports philanthropy, Microsoft Office, and GiveSmart software is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the game and event schedule.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
