About the role#
The Construction Intern works with the Project Management and Field Supervision teams to support active construction projects. This summer program provides hands-on experience through exposure to project operations, executive leadership, and collaborative team tasks. You will learn the project management process while working from our corporate office or an active job site.
What you'll do#
- Read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
- Review submittals, RFI responses, and architect instructions, then distribute them to the field and subcontractors.
- Record and distribute meeting notes to involved parties.
- Support field staff with daily tasks.
- Attend project operation meetings to learn about project health.
- Develop an understanding of field operations and the project management lifecycle.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong math and technology skills.
