About the role#
The Construction Project Engineer Internship offers an opportunity to observe and participate in construction management tasks. You will gain insight into the daily activities and communication required on a job site while working alongside our project teams.
What you'll do#
- Assist the project management team with planning, scheduling, material procurement, safety, cost control, and quality management.
- Develop an understanding of site management processes, administrative requirements, and contract administration.
- Manage document control, submittals, meeting minutes, change orders, and RFI's using project management software.
- Communicate daily with project teams, subcontractors, engineers, and inspectors to track project progress.
- Collect, analyze, and present statistics for reports and research.
- Use advanced technology to assist in the completion of assigned projects.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written forms.
- High level of thoroughness and accuracy in your work.
- Professional appearance and a high level of reliability regarding attendance policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with Procore is desirable.
