About the role#
As a DRAM Thin Films Process Engineering Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers on a high-impact summer project focused on semiconductor process development and optimization. This role provides hands-on experience with experimental design, process characterization, data analysis, and multi-functional collaboration. You will contribute to real engineering challenges and present your results to technical and leadership audiences at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll do#
- Research and develop innovative solutions that support next-generation memory technology.
- Develop, complete, and analyze experiments to improve thin films process performance.
- Apply statistical analysis, data science techniques, and AI-enabled tools to identify process trends.
- Partner with process, equipment, and integration engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges.
- Communicate project objectives, technical findings, and recommendations through reports and presentations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Knowledge of semiconductor processing, thin films, materials characterization, or related manufacturing technologies.
- Background in crafting experiments, performing data analysis, applying statistical methods, or engineering problem-solving.
- Demonstrated interest in leveraging AI, machine learning, data science, or digital engineering tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaborative skills with the ability to manage priorities and work independently.
