About the role#
As an Operations Improvement Scheduling Intern, you will work within our semiconductor manufacturing environment in Boise. This is a full-time, paid internship focused on improving scheduling processes and technical operations. You will engage directly with project requirements and help design solutions that meet user needs.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and define project requirements.
- Design optimal solutions by reviewing options with customers.
- Identify and document system defects and potential improvements.
- Participate in integration and user acceptance testing with end users.
- Create technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and deployment plans.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in database management methods, including SQL, Snowflake, and MongoDB.
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Python, Perl, or VBA, with a preference for C# and Python.
- Experience with data management and visualization tools like Excel and Tableau.
- Familiarity with using AI tools to automate processes, organize data, or assist in scripting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to manage projects independently.
