About the role#
We are looking for an analytical intern to support strategic business operations, process improvement, and data analytics. You will work with cross-functional teams to turn enterprise data into insights, supporting initiatives in forecasting, productivity, and operational excellence. This role is suited for students who want to apply engineering principles to solve complex business problems.
What you'll do#
- Gather, clean, and interpret data from various business systems.
- Build dashboards and reports to visualize business performance and trends.
- Analyze current business processes to find opportunities for automation and waste reduction.
- Document workflows and process maps for current and future states.
- Perform root cause analysis to recommend improvements for operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with teams across Finance, Operations, Customer Success, and Product.
- Present your findings and recommendations to project teams and leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or a related engineering field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to work with data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently.
- A curious mindset and interest in learning new technologies.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Austin, Texas.
- Available for Winter 2027 or Summer 2027 terms.
- This is a paid internship.
