About the role#
The ASIC Validation team brings new silicon products to life by characterizing devices after fabrication. You will work alongside experienced engineers to validate hardware and improve the infrastructure used across the team. This role offers hands-on experience with lab equipment, automation, and data analysis while contributing to the bring-up of next-generation products.
What you'll do#
- Support silicon bring-up, testing, and validation by collaborating with design, verification, and firmware teams.
- Characterize device functionality and performance using laboratory equipment and validation environments.
- Build or update scripts, automation tools, and AI-assisted workflows to improve validation and reporting.
- Analyze validation results and debug complex issues while evaluating AI-generated insights.
- Document technical findings and present recommendations to engineering teams.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience from internships, research, or academic projects.
- Understanding of ASIC design, silicon bring-up, or semiconductor development processes.
- Experience with electronic laboratory equipment.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools and large language models like Copilot or Claude.
- Programming skills in Python, C/C++, or SystemVerilog.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git and data analysis tools.
- Awareness of responsible AI practices and data governance.
