About the role#
Michigan's Adventure is hiring interns to support our Marketing and Group Sales teams for the 2027 season. This role focuses on promoting the park through social media content and assisting with the logistics of special events, corporate outings, and sponsorship activations. You will gain hands-on experience in public relations, event planning, and digital marketing while working directly with park leadership.
What you'll do#
- Create photo and video content for social media platforms.
- Assist with content calendars, social media campaigns, and community engagement.
- Support influencer partnerships and promotional activations.
- Capture and promote special events occurring throughout the park.
- Gather information for marketing recaps and reports.
- Coordinate logistics, setup, and execution for group sales and corporate events.
- Assist with day-of operations for catered events and season pass holder activities.
- Work with multiple departments to ensure events run smoothly.
- Support sponsorship activations and branding efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university, pursuing a degree in a related field.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work outdoors.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Prior experience with social media content creation is preferred.

- Role is based in Muskegon, Michigan.
- This is an on-site, paid internship.
- Available for Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 terms.
