Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Emerging Talent Intern

About the role#

The Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Emerging Talent Intern will support the Department of Subways operations by tracking major assets within the subway system. This role involves learning how assets are stored, maintained, repaired, and replaced. Interns will participate in specific projects including DOS Subways EAM Change Management, Asset Management, and Data Analysis.

What you'll do#

• Perform data analysis and create software scripts for data transformation using SQL queries.
• Manage tasks to move projects and initiatives forward.
• Troubleshoot EAM applications and provide customer service.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for EAM solutions.
• Maintain processes for identifying defects and troubleshooting production issues.
• Document software implementation standards and make strategic recommendations based on findings.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a graduate program with at least a 2.8 GPA.
• Preferred majors include Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Compensation: $21.00 per hour.
