About the role#
The Family and Community Partnerships Intern II supports daily district operations through student supervision, enrichment activities, and logistical coordination. This role provides hands-on experience in education and youth development by assisting site leadership with attendance management, material distribution, and classroom support. The position is paid and requires on-site work in Nashville, Tennessee.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the planning and execution of the Promising Scholars program and related initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between schools, families, and community partners to foster engagement.
- Design and implement student retention strategies, including efforts focused on 3rd-grade retention.
- Manage and update supply inventory and coordinate distribution to schools and families.
- Create program materials, presentations, and reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with staff to analyze data, track outcomes, and ensure compliance with grant and state legislative requirements.
- Develop graphics and social media content to highlight program successes and engage the community.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a graduate-level degree program in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Communications, Public Health, Sociology, Human Resources, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or Criminal Justice.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft clear reports and professional correspondence.
- High proficiency in analytical skills, including the ability to review, interpret, and visualize data in charts and tables.
- Strong attention to detail regarding document organization and data tracking.
- Relevant experience with children, education, or administrative duties is preferred.
