About the role#
The Radiology Student Sr works at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. In this role, you operate imaging equipment and perform procedures under the supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist. You will support our mission by providing consistent care and maintaining professional standards in all patient interactions.
What you'll do#
- Perform quality radiologic procedures using correct technical and safety methods.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and hospital policies.
- Manage supplies and equipment efficiently.
- Plan your daily work to ensure productivity.
- Demonstrate professional behavior and provide customer service to patients and staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program for Radiology.
- Basic knowledge of radiographic equipment and imaging procedures.
- Ability to communicate with internal and external customers.
- Basic knowledge of radiology information systems, such as RIS or HIS (PACS experience is preferred).
- Current BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification from the American Heart Association.
