About the role#
This is an 8-month, full-time paid internship opportunity. You will learn the equipment finance business and support functional areas including sales, credit, funding, risk management, and program onboarding. You will be expected to contribute to business process improvements and project management initiatives while working alongside industry leaders.
What you'll do#
- Support functional areas in maintaining, developing, and improving product offerings and processes.
- Participate in initiatives to improve business processes across the organization.
- Gather business requirements and provide input into the design and integration of proposed solutions.
- Analyze internal processes and capture data to discuss potential changes and improvements.
- Review contracts and manage small project implementations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or recent completion of studies in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, or Operations Management.
- Ability to read and comprehend legal documentation.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean or 6 Sigma.
- Understanding of project management and change management principles.
- Technology skills with the ability to leverage tools to create operational efficiencies.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to take initiative and build relationships in a hybrid environment.

- Location: Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada.
- Modality: Hybrid, with a requirement to attend the office at least one day per week.
- Term: 8-month COOP opportunity with rolling intake.
