About the role#
MegazoneCloud US is seeking a Data Engineer Co-op to join our technical team. You will function as a core member of the group, applying your technical skills to solve real-world problems. We look for students who are curious and ready to move from classroom theory to professional execution.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain data pipelines for our business and client solutions.
- Write and optimize Python and SQL code to automate processes and manage data workflows.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to level up your technical expertise.
- Participate in team meetings and technical discovery sessions, contributing your own perspective to design discussions.
- Gain hands-on exposure to AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Work alongside data science and infrastructure teams to support scaling efforts.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
- Academic or project-based experience with Python and SQL.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database principles.
- A strategic builder mentality.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and work effectively within a team.
- Must be currently eligible to work in the US.
