Supply Chain Engineering and Analytics Intern - Fall 2026

About the role#

The Supply Chain Engineering and Analytics Intern will support operational excellence initiatives within the distribution centre network. This role provides hands-on experience in warehouse operations, supply chain analytics, and process improvement, contributing to performance, quality, and efficiency outcomes in a pharmaceutical distribution environment.

What you'll do#

• Analyze operational performance data and support the tracking and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on warehouse flow, picking efficiency, inventory management, and automation optimization.
• Evaluate staffing models, shift patterns, and labour utilization to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze inbound and outbound flows, inventory positioning, and order profiles.
• Build and maintain reporting tools to provide visibility into operational performance and trends.
• Investigate operational issues and support corrective action planning.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, transportation, and inventory teams.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Systems), Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel is required; experience with Power BI or SQL is an asset.
• A strong interest in logistics, distribution, and process improvement.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Location & details#

• Location: Surrey, British Columbia, Canada (On-site at the Surrey Distribution Centre).
• Term: Fall 2026 (September 8th through December 31st).
• Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
• Work Environment: Primarily based in an operational warehouse environment with time spent on the floor observing and analyzing processes.
