About the role#
As an Automation & Controls Project Management Co-op, you work with the team from day one on projects that impact our success. You will support tasks from preconstruction through final closeout. We look for individuals who show initiative and work well with others. Successful co-ops may take on more ownership of projects as they gain experience under guidance.
What you'll do#
- Support controls projects from initiation through final closeout.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, vendors, and field teams.
- Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment.
- Assist with project cost tracking and provide updates on budget performance.
- Plan with Project Managers and Field Team Leaders to hit schedule milestones.
- Survey project sites to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and productivity values.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Co-op program at an accredited engineering school.
- Current major in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Computer Science.
- Ability to complete at least three full-time, alternating Co-op rotations before graduation.
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to use time productively.
Location & details#
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time, paid position.
- Rotations: Summer 2027, Spring 2028, and Fall 2028.
- Physical requirements: Occasional site visits may require navigating active construction areas, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
