    About the role#

    The Operational Quality Intern will support food safety and quality initiatives across the enterprise. You will work with cross-functional teams including Operations, Production, Maintenance, and Quality to support operational excellence and regulatory compliance. This role provides hands-on experience with food safety systems, quality programs, and continuous improvement practices.

    What you'll do#

    • Support food safety and quality improvement projects.
    • Collect and analyze quality and food safety data.
    • Assist with foreign material inspection projects.
    • Update and maintain HACCP plans and quality documentation.
    • Participate in audits, inspections, and product evaluations.
    • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Dairy Science, Biology, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including a requirement for Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and solve problems.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Previous food manufacturing, laboratory, or quality experience is preferred but not required.
