BFT CCHI Student Intern

About the role#

This internship program, operated in partnership with MGH and the EMK school, provides high school students with the opportunity to explore careers within a healthcare environment. This role is open to current high school students associated with the Boston PIC or community partners serving areas with limited resources.

What you'll do#

Internship responsibilities vary depending on the specific placement. You will be expected to:

• Participate in career exploration within a healthcare setting.
• Follow directions provided by supervisors.
• Maintain reliability, punctuality, and good time management.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn.
• Utilize strong oral communication skills.

What you'll need#

• Must have completed some high school education.
• Maintain passing grades and be in good standing at school.
• A genuine interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.
• Ability to meet the minimum program hours per week commitment.

• Location: 399 Revolution Drive, Somerville, Massachusetts.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Pay Range: $17.36 – $23.80 per hour.
• Status: Paid, temporary, part-time position.
