As a Design Verification Engineer Intern, you will join the Custom Compute Solutions business unit to support the verification of circuitry for high-speed semiconductor chips. You will work alongside experienced engineers to ensure designs meet specifications for area, power, performance, and latency across various infrastructure applications.
What you'll do#
- Verify and validate block requirements including area, power, performance, and latency.
- Assist with the verification of subsystems and full-chip verification groups.
- Collaborate with design engineers to resolve design bugs and work with physical design engineers to address timing issues.
- Write documentation outlining verification approaches.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including architects, designers, and software engineers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or MS program in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analysis and problem-solving abilities.
- Exposure to digital logic and computer architecture.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Verilog/System Verilog or other Hardware Description Languages.
- Preferred: Knowledge of semiconductor ASIC design/verification methodologies and flows.
- Preferred: Exposure to Ethernet and cryptographic technologies.

- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: $32 - $43 per hour.
