About the role#
As an Analog Layout Intern, you will join the Central Engineering business group. This team provides IP to business units across the company, including storage, networking, and automotive. You will work with global colleagues to contribute to real products and tapeouts.
What you'll do#
- Translate analog IC schematics into physical layout using Cadence Virtuoso.
- Run design rule checks, layout versus schematic verification, and other physical verification flows.
- Collaborate with Analog IC Designers to refine, debug, and iterate on layouts.
- Participate in team meetings and project reviews.
- Present progress updates and technical findings to cross-functional global teams.
- Contribute to the development of next-generation semiconductor IP.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
- Fundamental understanding of electrical engineering, analog circuit theory, and microelectronics.
- Coursework or hands-on experience in analog design, IC layout, or VLSI design.
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Calibre, or similar EDA tools.
- Eligibility to access export-controlled information.
