As an Analog Engineer Intern, you will join the Central Engineering group, which provides essential IP for Marvell's automotive, storage, security, and networking architectures. You will work within a small analog team to contribute to the development of DSP transceivers. This role offers the opportunity to balance broad engineering exposure with deep technical specialization.
What you'll do#
- Understand product requirements and determine how your specific block integrates into the overall system.
- Take ownership of a design block for delivery into a Marvell DSP transceiver.
- Evaluate and compare tradeoffs between different circuit topologies.
- Perform schematic capture and layout using the Cadence Virtuoso design environment.
- Execute schematic-level and post-layout simulations to quantify and optimize circuit performance.
- Document designs and participate in design reviews with the team.
- Design, simulate, and support the verification of analog IP.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a PhD or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of circuit design.
- Experience with detailed transistor-level design.
- Understanding of device physics.
- Proficiency in feedback and loop stability analysis.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
