About the role#
As an analog IC design intern, you will join the Data Center Networking business group to work on silicon photonics for scale-up networking. You will gain exposure to various engineering skills and tools while having the time to focus on the details of your specialization.
What you'll do#
- Design integrated circuits for electrical and electro-optical interfaces at speeds of 100+ Gb/s.
- Use advanced technology nodes, specifically 3nm FinFET.
- Learn to use CAD tools, primarily Cadence, to design and simulate high-performance analog circuits.
- Learn advanced techniques for analog and high-speed layout.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master or PhD thesis.
- Completed or in the process of a circuit design or chip tape out.
- Academic knowledge of CMOS analog design.
- Understanding of CMOS processes and fabrication.
- Basic knowledge of IC layout.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated personality.
- Basics of RF design techniques are a plus.
